  2. Hello, The demo site for the Video (Learning) theme is now fully https-compatible: https://demo.mythemeshop.com/video-learning/ The issue was simply that the favicon file was added with a http URL instead of the https. We have fixed this and there is no SSL issue anymore. All our themes are https-compatible, but if you experience any issue related to that, we are here to help you fix it. Thank you for bringing the issue to our attention. If there's anything else, please let us know. Thank you.
  3. Hello, From the Settings page of the plugin you can set the default criteria to rate and the default schema type, but for individual reviews it is possible to change these. In other words, you can have a Book review and a Movie review on the same site, with different criteria and schema. Hope that helps If you have any other question, please feel free to ask.

  5. Hello, Unfortunately, it is not possible to collect the quiz results with the plugin. We will, however, consider adding such option in it in the future. If there is anything else, please let us know. Thank you.
  6. Hello, That can be achieved easily using child theme files. Please create a new "wp-review" folder in your (child) theme directory, and then copy the following file in the new folder: wp-review-pro/box-templates/default.php. That is the template file for the review box, you can make edits in it, and the one in the child theme folder will override the default one in the plugin directory, so the customizations will be kept even if you update the plugin. You can also find a list of available filter hooks with examples in the filter-list.php file, inside the plugin folder. Hope that helps. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Thank you.

  9. Hello, I checked the files in question and I can assure you that all the issues listed are false positives, none of them pose any risk. 1. You can see that ini_set() is only being used to try and extend the max_execution_time, to avoid timeout issues on some servers. There is nothing wrong with this usage. 2. & 3. While the base64_ functions may indicate obfuscated code (malware), they have numerous legitimate uses, and in this case, they are required by the Twitter API. 4. & 5. file_get_contents(), fopen() and fclose() are required for the demo importer to work correctly. curl_init() and curl_exec() are used by the Twitter API library. I'm not sure why these get simply flagged as "Malware" by the checker tool. 6. It is true that add_theme_page() is recommended for themes, however, the options it provides are limited, and there is no difference in performance or otherwise when compared with other similar functions, like add_menu_page(). Please note that the checker even flagged some commented out lines in the code, which never get executed and have no effect at all. This also shows that the tool checks themes in a rather basic and unsophisticated manner. Hope that helps. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
  10. Hi, Portfolio posts are just another post type and they behave like posts or pages: single portfolio posts will get indexed by Google and shown in the search results. Here is a single portfolio page from our demo site: https://demo.mythemeshop.com/portfolio/portfolio/nose-piercing/ For more control over the SEO and the page's appearance in the search results, please install an SEO plugin like Yoast. Hope that helps. If you have any other question, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
  11. Hello, Thank you for contacting MyThemeShop today. 1. The button on that page only reveals a comment box. The plugin works with default comment boxes of posts and pages but it doesn't have the ability to show or hide a comment box as that is part of a theme. 2. This may be possible, using a third party plugin. As reviews made with the plugin are technically comments, a "comment email notification" plugin from the repository should do it. 3. This is not possible by default, however, it should not be too hard to do it by editing the plugin files and we can help with that. 4. That's currently not supported. 5. The required fields would depend on the theme commenting section. 6. You can insert the review to show in any page using a shortcode. 7. You can change the color of the review boxes. 8. That's currently not supported. Looking forward to help you. Thank you.
  12. Hi Gee, The eCommerce theme uses the WooCommerce plugin for its store-related functionality. WooCommerce supports digital products (such as ebooks) out of the box, and there are even some extensions available to enhance the experience, for example this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-checkout-for-digital-goods/ You can create authors manually in WordPress, or let them register to your site, then you should be able to edit their user's capabilities with a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/ Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
  13. Hi, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We're glad you liked our products and that we could help with the adjustments. If you have any other question, please feel free to create a new thread in the forums.
  14. Hello, Unfortunately, there is no such feature in the URL Shortener plugin. However, we will definitely consider adding it in a future update. Thank you for the suggestion. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
  15. Hello, Coupons are technically a custom post type in the theme, with some post meta (custom fields) attached to them. If you have your old coupon data in CSV format you might be able to map the columns to the new post meta using WP All Import or some other importer plugin. Unfortunately, we won't be able to assist you with this. I can, however, point you to the file that contains the post meta definitions: they are located in functions/metaboxes.php file, inside the mts_register_coupon_single_metabox() function, starting from line #344. Hope that helps.
  16. Hello, Sorry for the late reply. 1. The reviews you see on the demo page linked by my colleague actually use the default review system in WooCommerce. Sorry for the confusion. Both WooCommerce and WP Review Pro hook into the comments system to allow (visitor) reviews, and the reviews function in WooCommerce gets priority over WP Review, so it is not possible to use the latter for the visitor reviews. It is possible, however, to use its editor-written review functionality (the "review box") for WooCommerce products or any other post type. 2. The main focus of the plugin is on the editor reviews, i.e. reviews and ratings written by the site administrator. The visitor review is an additional feature and only allows an overall rating to be added – for visitor reviews it is not possible to rate multiple features in a single review and make an average. 3. Yes, it might be possible to customize both WP Review or WooCoommerce to make this work. 4. In WP Review Pro, you can add, edit and remove visitor reviews from the WordPress admin panel just like regular comments. 5. WP Review Pro uses the comments system internally, so you can just enable this setting for default comments in Settings > Discussion, and it will be applied to reviews as well. Hope that helps.
  17. Hi Justin, All our products are self-contained and fully open source. All the data and code is yours and are stored on your server. Only our optional Updater plugin will communicate with our servers to periodically check for theme and plugin updates. Hope that helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
  18. Hi Gary, The theme can only show the photos in that grid layout, if your images are not square shaped then they will get cropped. When you click on the magnifying glass icon appearing over each image as you hover over with the mouse, you can see that the original photos aren't square shaped – they just get cropped to fit in the grid layout. The cropping is automatic but you can use a plugin like this to crop the images manually. Hope that helps. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  19. Hi, Thanks for leaving a testimonial. We work hard to provide the best possible support for our clients and we're glad to hear that you're satisfied with our services. If you need help in the future, don't hesitate to open a new thread in our forums.
  20. Hello, Sure. Here is how to change it: Find this part in functions.php file function mts_rtl() { Add this code right after it: if ( is_admin() ) { return; } So it should look like this: function mts_rtl() { if ( is_admin() ) { return; } global $wp_locale, $wp_styles; $wp_locale->text_direction = 'rtl'; I'd like to add that we are rolling out the same change for all our themes, in our newer and updated themes RTL is only applied to the front end. So this change will probably be applied to SociallyViral too in a future update. Hope that helps.
  21. Hi, Thanks for leaving a testimonial, we're really glad to know that you're satisfied with our support service. If you have any questions about our products, we're here to help.

  23. Hi, Sorry for the late reply. If I understand correctly, you would like to order the reviewed items by individual sub-ratings. Unfortunately, that is not possible, they can only be ordered by the overall rating (using the widget). We will consider adding such feature in the future. Hope that helps. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  24. Hi, Naturally, all our themes are fully compatible with our plugins, including Interactive and WP Review. Our plugins are also compatible with most third-party themes as long as they follow the coding guidelines and standards for WordPress products. In case there is some incompatibility we will try to help you sort it out. If you have any other question, please let us know.
  25. Hi, Yes, for the most part, those things are possible. In order to let visitors leave reviews about completely new items, unfortunately, we cannot recommend a specific guest post plugin, nor can we guarantee compatibility with those. You can test them with the free version of WP Review and if they work, they will most likely work with WP Review Pro as well. Hope that helps.
