  1. Hello, That can be achieved easily using child theme files. Please create a new "wp-review" folder in your (child) theme directory, and then copy the following file in the new folder: wp-review-pro/box-templates/default.php. That is the template file for the review box, you can make edits in it, and the one in the child theme folder will override the default one in the plugin directory, so the customizations will be kept even if you update the plugin. You can also find a list of available filter hooks with examples in the filter-list.php file, inside the plugin folder. Hope that helps. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Thank you.

  4. Hello, Sorry for the issues. From your screenshot it seems something went wrong the CSS code, which controls the appearance of the elements. We did not receive reports about similar issues in the past, but if this is in fact caused by a bug in the plugin, we will release an update to fix it ASAP. We will need to take a closer look to troubleshoot this. I checked the URL from your screenshot, but I couldn't find the review on that page. Along with the login details, please also send us a link to a page where we can see the issue. Thank you. Looking forward to help.
  5. Hello, We have checked your site and what we found is that the theme replaces the built-in jQuery library in WordPress with a different version of it, which breaks the plugin, and might cause other issues as well on the site – theme and plugin authors should not be doing this. Once we changed that to load the latest version, available in WordPress core, then the quiz is loading correctly on the page, but there is another error showing up when we try to actually flip the image. The error is coming from another theme Javascript file: js/vendor/ Please contact the theme authors about the errors. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
  6. Hello, Are you sure that the provided FTP details are correct? I'm unable to access your site using those. We will need the correct FTP server address, username and password. Thank you. Looking forward to help.
  7. Hello, Sorry for the late response. We have checked your site but we could not find the cause of the issue. Please share the FTP access details as well, so we can try some changes in the plugin code. Thank you. Looking forward to help.
  8. Hi, Normally, a plugin file gets loaded inside an iframe when the shortcode selection popup appears, and on your site that file returns a 404 error, as if the file was missing. Please check if the file exists: /wp-content/plugins/wp-shortcode/tinymce/editor_plugin.php If it does not exist, please try uploading the files again through FTP. If the file does exist, please contact your hosting provider, as that 404 may actually be caused by some other error, or some server configuration issue. Hope that helps.
  9. Hello, It might be caused by the wrong double quotes characters used in the shortcode. Try switching to "code" editor instead of the "visual" one, and then copy and paste the code from here: [wp_quiz_pro id="644"] Hope that helps. If it's still not working after doing that, please edit your first post and share your WordPress & FTP access details in the Sensitive Data field, so we can troubleshoot this for you. Thank you.
  10. Hello, I'd like to add that the URL Shortener plugin stores the shortlinks in a custom table in the database, they are not stored as a Custom Post Type, so you won't be able to use such plugin to post them directly. Instead, you will need to develop a custom solution, or let the users submit links with a form and you manually create the submitted links. Hope that helps.
  11. Hello, I tried logging in to your site, but it doesn't seem to work, /wp-admin is just timing out. However, I can say that we have seen a similar issue in the past and it was caused by the theme loading some jQuery UI related scripts on the quiz editing page, and that was conflicting with the plugin's code. Perhaps it is the case on your site as well. Please try it with a different theme, preferably a default one like Twenty Sixteen. If that doesn't help, please also try disabling other plugins to check for possible plugin conflicts. I'd like to add that while WP Quiz is GPL-licensed, that does not affect in any way our support policy: for the Pro version we only provide support in our Premium Plugins section. Please bear in mind that we also reserve the right to refuse service for non-paying customers using the Pro versions of our products. Hope that helps.
  12. Hi, Thanks for the update. Our developers are looking into this and we will release an update for the plugin if necessary. If there is anything else, please let us know. Thank you.
  13. Hello, I can see a Javascript error in the console log when looking at the quiz linked in the Sensitive Data field: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'logPageView' of undefined The error points to this part in the source code of the page: window.fbAsyncInit = function() { FB.init({ appId : '1737826412899708', xfbml : true, version : 'v2.9' }); FB.AppEvents.logPageView(); }; This code is repeated 3 times, with different app IDs, and it is not coming from the plugin, so it may be part of the theme, or it is some custom code added somewhere. The sharing issue is most probably related to this, please try removing those extra codes from your site. Hope that helps.
  14. Hello, If you are using Personality type quiz, please open inc/class-personality-quiz.php and find this line in it: <div class="wq_resultDesc">' . esc_html( $this->results[ $i ][ 'desc' ] ) . '</div> Change it to this: <div class="wq_resultDesc">' . wp_kses_post( $this->results[ $i ][ 'desc' ] ) . '</div> For Trivia quizzes, you need to edit class-trivia-quiz.php and edit this line: <div class="wq_resultDesc">' . esc_html( $result[ 'desc' ] ) . '</div> Replace it with this: <div class="wq_resultDesc">' . wp_kses_post( $result[ 'desc' ] ) . '</div> Hope that helps. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
  15. Hello, I checked the files in question and I can assure you that all the issues listed are false positives, none of them pose any risk. 1. You can see that ini_set() is only being used to try and extend the max_execution_time, to avoid timeout issues on some servers. There is nothing wrong with this usage. 2. & 3. While the base64_ functions may indicate obfuscated code (malware), they have numerous legitimate uses, and in this case, they are required by the Twitter API. 4. & 5. file_get_contents(), fopen() and fclose() are required for the demo importer to work correctly. curl_init() and curl_exec() are used by the Twitter API library. I'm not sure why these get simply flagged as "Malware" by the checker tool. 6. It is true that add_theme_page() is recommended for themes, however, the options it provides are limited, and there is no difference in performance or otherwise when compared with other similar functions, like add_menu_page(). Please note that the checker even flagged some commented out lines in the code, which never get executed and have no effect at all. This also shows that the tool checks themes in a rather basic and unsophisticated manner. Hope that helps. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
