If you look at our response time today for users in other support ticket they are no longer than a few hours. The reason why your issue is taking so long is because we never received your WP admin access. Therefore, in the first post of this support ticket here click on EDIT, then in the sensitive data field insert your WP admin access, then don't forget to let us know that you added a sensitive data information. You can however try to combine a page builder plugin with the theme. That may work for you but we cannot guarantee that as we haven't tested third party plugins. Looking forward to help you. Therefore you can indeed upload an image into the carousel. 2. That's something we are working on for future updates.
