[SociallyViral] Socially Viral Upgrade To Premium

I am currently using the free version and am interested in upgrading but I read the premium version is an entirely new theme so I'm a little concerned what will happen with some of my plugins.  In particular, I am using a plugin called "EasyRecipe" which creates recipe cards in each of my posts.

 

If I upgrade will my plugins and data for something like this be lost?

 

What about menus, tags etc?

I assume you are asking about the SociallyViral Pro version.

 

If you update the theme it will not affect any data related to your plugins or any data withing your posts.

 

You may lose the theme's layout and will need to manually re-adjust the theme from theme options, but no data will be lost.

 

Also if your plugins are inserted into the sidebar as widgets, then they may disappear when themes are activated, however you can simply just re-add them in Appearance > Widgets and they will work again.
