I just wanted to know that will it work same as a cashback theme wherein I can offer cashback to my users who make purchase via my site?

Thank you for contacting MyThemeShop today.

The theme has no ability to track purchases, it only sends your users to affiliate links.

Therefore unless you have a way of collecting data from the link you are sending them to, you won't know if users have purchased or not.

You would be able to do that if you manually insert each coupon code.

However if you are looking for an automatic solution, considering that each theme has a unique way of adding coupons I highly doubt that that is possible.

I will consult with our lead developers to see if that's possible, they would need to know which theme you are currently using, so let us know.

I have purchased the theme. So how can I transfer all the coupons the new theme. It means do I need to stop my site for a while and transfer all coupons to the new theme?

Your old theme uses a different system to insert coupon codes. It's not as easy as switching themes and the content is there because it's a different system.

What you will need to do is take a look at your most visited coupons, then manually transfer them one by one.

Can I upload the coupons or deals through CSV/excel format, because manually it's difficult to add 100+ deals/coupon on the website. Let me know the solution for this.

Coupons are technically a custom post type in the theme, with some post meta (custom fields) attached to them.

If you have your old coupon data in CSV format you might be able to map the columns to the new post meta using WP All Import or some other importer plugin.

 

Unfortunately, we won't be able to assist you with this. I can, however, point you to the file that contains the post meta definitions: they are located in functions/metaboxes.php file, inside the mts_register_coupon_single_metabox() function, starting from line #344.

We haven't tested any particular plugins, but if you google the term "csv import plugin wordpress"  you will see a few examples, try to see which one would work best for you.

i want to say that if i don't have  to deals and coupons manually on website. There are  many website which provide the feed  of the deal and coupons and we can access their feed through their API. Does this feature is supported.
