Guest
Before I buy, I want to know about potential problems and workarounds should I eventually switch from one of your WP themes to another. My site will be content heavy (magazine style) and I want to avoid code bloat and the use of in-theme features which won't migrate to a new theme. As example I've read that in-theme shortcodes and page builders should be avoided. So if this is true, and I use one of your themes, do I ignore the theme shortcodes and use a shortcode plugin instead? Or do I have to create site-specific plugins instead? Thanks. Guest
Shortcodes are promoted as a feature on the theme description page.
Support Jitendraa Posted May 28, 2016 Support Report Share Posted May 28, 2016 Hello, Yes, the shortcode of the theme is moved to a separate plugin so that it can be used with every theme. You can download that plugin from the below link for using it with your site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-shortcode/ Hope that helps. Thank you. 🏁Rank #1 on Google With our WordPress SEO Plugin. ⚡Score a 💯on PageSpeed and Dominate Search Rankings. ✏ Editing theme files? Please create a child theme to make your changes update-proof.
