advanirajesh
Hi, I will be moving my site from subdomain (http://posts.architecturelive.in) to the root domain (http://architecturelive.in). I wish to know, 1. Will it again require me to set up the Rank Math Plugin from the beginning? 2. I would like to create 301 Redirects to maintain the Search Engine Rankings. How do I do that? 3. What all steps shall be kept in mind so that the process doesn't affect the SEO? Please guide.
Support Mili Posted September 29, 2018 Support Report Share Posted September 29, 2018 Hello, Thank you for contacting MyThemeShop today. 1. The Rank Math plugin is just like any other plugin, if the migration is made correctly on your end you shouldn't have to re-configure any plugins including Rank Math. Please consult with your hosting provider about migration. It is important to review database links, if you have never done migration before we recommend you consult with your hosting provider. 2. If you look at here: http://ovo.li/uploads/EC64h2 you will see where to add redirection to the Rank Math plugin. 3. Unfortunately we won't be able to advise you on all the steps because each site is different. You would need to consult with an SEO specialist to determine what your site requires for SEO migrations. Generally speaking it is important to have the identical sitemap and good 301 redirects as well as ensuring all pages are migrated and that there are no 404 errors (missing pages). Looking forward to helping you. Thank you. 🏁Rank #1 on Google With our WordPress SEO Plugin. ⚡Score a 💯on PageSpeed and Dominate Search Rankings. ✏ Editing theme files?
