[NewsPaper] 2 Questions Regarding Newspaper Theme

I am hoping someone can answer a couple of questions:

 

1 - Is there a child them with this?

2 - Is it easy to modify date on posts so it show "Last Updated" date?

1. There is no Child theme available with this theme but you can create one using one option present in the theme options of this theme.

 

2. There is no option there for achieving that. but once you start modifying the theme, let us know so that we can help you with the code adjustment there.
