bsvillage
I'm very interested in Schema theme, it seems clear, fast and seo friendly, just what I'm looking for. I want to create a site (many sites in fact) to show a specific kind o products, without the whole heavy ecommerce structure: i want visitors to fill a specific contact form displaied in each product page, not to buy directly. I see schema has a shop option, does it involve Woocommerce or it's more like a custom post type (I prefer this option)? Does Schema suits my needs? thanks
Support Mili Posted October 4, 2014 Support Report Share Posted October 4, 2014 Hello, I am not entirely sure as to what you are trying to create but Schema uses Woocommerce. And Woocommerce gives you the options of users filling up a form before purchase. You can use Schema without Woocommerce and have your own custom made purchasing options or a different plugin for shopping. 🏁Rank #1 on Google With our WordPress SEO Plugin. ⚡Score a 💯on PageSpeed and Dominate Search Rankings. ✏ Editing theme files? bsvillage
Ok, thanks, I want to create a catalog without prices and buy options, Woocommerce is too much for this, I want just a post type product-like, but create and set my own post type requires me a lot of unecessary work. Ben
Hi, Here's an add-on for WooCommerce that might help: http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-catalog-mode/6806913 You could also just use WooCommerce, and hide unneeded elements via CSS. This may require some work, but probably less than adding and setting up a custom post type manually.
