Support Mili Posted November 4, 2021 Support Report Share Posted November 4, 2021 Hello, Thank you for contacting MyThemeShop today. The Schema theme is not using the Genesis Framework. However you don't need to buy the WP Review plugin, the free version of the plugin comes with the theme. Only the pro version of the plugin WP Review Pro requires a purchase. Looking forward to helping you. Thank you. 🏁Rank #1 on Google With our WordPress SEO Plugin. ⚡Score a 💯on PageSpeed and Dominate Search Rankings. ✏ Editing theme files? ckcekay
Hi Mistaprime, I have genesis framework on my site and I want to keep it, genesis needs a child theme to work on it, so does schema theme work on genesis framework as a child theme? Support Mili Posted November 6, 2021 Support Report Share Posted November 6, 2021 Hello, We haven't tested that however you can easily test it since the Schema theme works with child themes. Here is a video showing how to create child themes. If you don't have the premium version of Schema to test, then simply use the free version of Schema theme to test. and0r1995
As far as I know, the two don't work together, due to using a complete different structure. They use different names for classes, and I the html structure is different as well. You could try and conver the design itself from Scheme Theme to a genesis child theme, but would take a long time. But as for it working out of the box, I highly doubt it.

ckcekay
and0r1995 & MistaPrime thanks for ur replies, I gave it a try and it didn't at all, as when you activate schema the genesis will get deactivated. kindly provide this as feedback to the schema team so they can make compatible versions in the future. thanks ck
