What you should do is make a staging environment first and update to PHP 8 in the staging environment to test. Ensure you have no errors and then you can update to PHP 8. Also, make sure you do a full backup of your site first before doing that. If you encounter any issues and if you have a support subscription with us our support team should be able to help you troubleshoot the PHP errors for Point theme and fix them for you. After the one year, the pro version is still available to you but if you do not renew the subscription you do not have access to the support. You will however still have access to the theme pro. Yes, our plugin still receives updates however since it has been built to last a long time, it did not require any updates with the latest WP versions. If there is a major bug or if it does not work we will release a major update. Also note that if you have a subscription with us, which you will have free for 1 year after you purchase the plugin our support staff will be able to assist you if any bugs are happening.
