karen.legloire
Hi there, I'd like to upgrade my blog's theme from the free Schema Lite theme to Schema & take this opportunity to start another new blog. I'm wondering if this is going to be an "easy" update for the existing site? I'm using plugins such as Thrive Themes or Pretty Links. Also, Schema is said to be very fast loading so does this mean there's no need to add a cache plugin? I'm currently using the Super Cache on my blog and I'm not impressed, it's not helping at all with page speed (Leverage Browser Caching is given an F grade on Gmetrix). Support Jitendraa Posted May 28, 2020 Support Report Share Posted May 28, 2020 Hello, Thank you for your interest in Schema. Changing a theme won't affect the performance of the plugins you are using. You just need to install and activate the Premium theme and use that. Schema theme's code are optimised so that it'll load fast, but for better result, you can use some caching plugin with the theme. Thank you. 1 🏁Rank #1 on Google With our WordPress SEO Plugin. ⚡Score a 💯on PageSpeed and Dominate Search Rankings. ✏ Editing theme files?
