On Product category pages basic Product markup is needed ( name, price, URL pointing to the single product page). The idea here is to let Google understand that that page contains a big list of products that fit the category as seen in the page title. The warning you see in Google Structured data tool is for the missing recommended fields, those fields are not required on category pages.
