justin979
Hello, I would be grateful if you could tell me if WP-Review-Pro will leverage my database server to store the review content or does it leverage a third-party. In general, how do companies like yourself distinguish between a plug-in that is somewhat SaaS based and a plug-in that is completely self contained and typically loaded on the same database and web-server as the wordpress install? For instance, I know there are some WordPress plugins that simply create something like an iFrame and pull content from a third party location/server. Just not clear on the nomenclature. Thank you in advance. Regards, Justin
Ben
Hi Justin, All our products are self-contained and fully open source. All the data and code is yours and are stored on your server. Only our optional Updater plugin will communicate with our servers to periodically check for theme and plugin updates. Hope that helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
