[NewsPaper] Side Widgets Possible For Static Page With Newspaper Theme?

When using the Newspaper theme is it possible to have the widgets appear in a sidebar along the text (like any other page) 

 

or will the sidebar automatically always go at the bottom because the static page will take over full width of the page and push it down?

Therefore, I don't understand your question, as you can see on the demo the sidebar works and is like a regular sidebar.

What kind of sidebar are you looking for?
