The first page is a collection of posts, therefore it is a Blog already.

I need a "blog" section in addition to the home, in this section the articles are classified by month and you can search for content based on categories, tags and date.

Is it possible with this theme?

Hello,

There is no option to add another blog section into the home because the home is already a Blog.

Regarding the search, you can use a search plugin which will extend the regular search options from WordPress into having more options.

As with all themes you can add category links into the menu, so when users click on those menu links they are taken to that category page where all the posts from that category will show.
