Since last one week google is showing a separate description for one post. It is not the meta description. One week back I have started using Gutenberg and added excerpt to the post. Viewer dropped. I have reinstalled classic editor. Deleted excerpt. What else should I do ? In Rank Math Setting - Title & Meta - Posts- Single post description - it is mentioned as %excerpt% Should I keep it blank? Also, please inform the best practice with excerpt, regarding SEO.

I am planning to install Rank Math in my blog. Also, I need to install SSL certification. Which one to be done 1st? My concern is, if I change to HTTPS, it may create turbulence in my SERP. Then it will be tough for me to compare Rank Math's performance with my existing SEO Plugin.
