Ben's post in [Schema] Critical Issue When Checking in themecheck.org was marked as the answer
Hello,
I checked the files in question and I can assure you that all the issues listed are false positives, none of them pose any risk.
1. You can see that ini_set() is only being used to try and extend the max_execution_time, to avoid timeout issues on some servers. There is nothing wrong with this usage.
2. & 3. While the base64_ functions may indicate obfuscated code (malware), they have numerous legitimate uses, and in this case, they are required by the Twitter API.
4. & 5. file_get_contents(), fopen() and fclose() are required for the demo importer to work correctly. curl_init() and curl_exec() are used by the Twitter API library. I'm not sure why these get simply flagged as "Malware" by the checker tool.
6. It is true that add_theme_page() is recommended for themes, however, the options it provides are limited, and there is no difference in performance or otherwise when compared with other similar functions, like add_menu_page().
Please note that the checker even flagged some commented out lines in the code, which never get executed and have no effect at all. This also shows that the tool checks themes in a rather basic and unsophisticated manner.
Hope that helps. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Thank you.

Ben's post in [Magazine] Can We List All Post On Homepage Like Under Interview was marked as the answer
Hi,
Yes, you can add and remove sections that show posts from a specific category or the latest posts, and choose any of the 4 layouts you can see on the demo homepage.
Hope that helps.

Ben's post in [Video] Video - Presales Query was marked as the answer
Hello,
The video player can be customized with CSS.
Existing videos in your posts will work, but they will simply show up in the traditional way. To make them show up in the custom video player at the top, you need to set the post format to Video, and add the video ID in the proper field on the post editing screen.
The AJAX search feature present in other themes is included in this theme as well, it's just not enabled on the demo site. There is no header search form, you need to use the Search Widget to show the search form on the site.
Hope that helps. Let us know if you have any other question.

Ben's post in [Video] Theme Features was marked as the answer
Hi,
As Videos are technically posts, it should be possible for users to create their own posts using a plugin like Guest Posts: https://wordpress.org/plugins/guest-posts/
Alternatively, you could let the visitors fill out a form when submitting videos (using Contact Form 7 or similar plugin), and you (or another administrator) would create the post with the video, filling out the Submitted by field to show the visitor's name instead of the post author name.
Hope that helps.

Ben's post in [SociallyViral] Interested In Buying The $67 Membership, But... was marked as the answer
Hi,
That's right, you can cancel it anytime, you won't be billed anymore, and you can keep using the products for lifetime. Keep in mind though that after your account reverts to free membership, you won't be able to download the premium themes & plugins anymore, and won't be entitled for premium support.

Ben's post in [WP Review Pro] Example Of Wp Review On Serp was marked as the answer
Hi,
Unfortunately, our demos are not indexed by search engines, so the example reviews won't show up in SERP. But I'm pretty sure you can find some other users' sites with WP Review installed by looking on the forum, then you can try searching for those in Google. Or maybe someone will stumble upon this thread and share their own site in the future.
But you can rest assured that the reviews have the correct structured data so that they can appear in SERPs. Whether Google will display it or not is another question, the structured data is not enough, there are some other things they take into account, like the overall quality of the site, the relevance between the search query and the reviewed item, and if the particular page's main content is about the reviewed item or not.
Hope this helps.

Ben's post in [SociallyViral] Sociallyviral Video Tutorial was marked as the answer
Hi,
To get the same layout and content, please download the Demo Data package for the theme from your account at mythemeshop.com, extract the zip file, and follow the instructions in the readme file.
If you have your own content and don't want to import that, you will just need to go to the Theme Options > Import / Export, and import the demo preset with one click. Then you can tweak the settings as you wish.
Hope this helps.

Ben's post in [Best] 2 Menus + Woocommerce? was marked as the answer
Hi,
Best has only one nav menu, it is not possible to set up two menus. And we cannot guarantee full compatibility with WooCommerce, we did not add any special WooCommerce feature in the theme (like header cart in Schema), but it should work fine with the plugin.
Hope this helps.

Ben's post in Pre-sale questions about Glamour Theme and Clock Theme was marked as the answer
Hi,
1. There are 6 different layouts for the homepage, and 4 layouts for the single posts. For pages, there's a no-sidebar template, there's one for the contact form (which has the form included), and one for the latest posts (this one can be used for the blog landing page).
2. It can't be rearranged from the admin panel, but it should be possible by modifying the code here and there. Our forum moderators will help you with this.
3. Yes, it may be possible with a few CSS tweaks.
4. Yes, three Ad widgets are included in the theme: 125x125, 300x250, and 728x90.
5. No, it isn't possible by default. You can open a thread for it in our support forum and our moderators may be able to help you with it.
6. No, there is no sidebar navigation widget included.
7. You just have to install the WooCommerce plugin to have ecommerce on your site. The theme is WooCommerce-ready.
1. Our forum moderators will help you with this.
2. Clock has 2+2 Homepage layouts (two sections can be set independently) and 3 Single Post layouts.
Everything else: same as for Glamour.
