So it's been quite some time, but there is no official fix present. I guess the only solution is to move to another plugin or write our own.

Hi Mili, thanks for your quick reply. I see, then I am eagerly awaiting an update related to this plugin. Just to explain our situation: We are using a monitoring tool (ManageWP) which leverages the CVE reports from patchstack to check if plugins have open vulnerabilities or not. Now a bunch of our websites are marked as insecure due to this CVE - and therefore our customers will get that information in their monthly reports.

https://patchstack.com/database/wordpress/plugin/wp-quiz/vulnerability/wordpress-wp-quiz-plugin-2-0-10-cross-site-scripting-xss-vulnerability was reported in April 2025. Now its nearly July 2025. Is this plugin abandoned?
