[Rank Math SEO Plugin] Redirection not automatic?

Using latest version of RM. I've changed the slug of an article and i've imagined that RM would create a redirection automatically from the old URL to the new one but this has not happened so now I've inserted the redirection manually but I'm asking why this has not happened like, for example, in Yoast SEO.

Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you for contacting MyThemeShop.

First of everything, one should not be using an automatic redirection as WordPress handles that on its own. Unless someone is going to utilize those redirects to create something complex, it should be avoided. It is simply not required with the latest versions of WordPress.

If you are still looking to activate it, you can do it from these settings:
RBymim+

/wp-admin/admin.php?page=rank-math-options-general#setting-panel-redirections

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know.

Hello,

Glad that helped.

As I mentioned, it should only be used if someone's making advanced redirections, otherwise, WordPress handles it perfectly.

If you need any other assistance, please let us know. We are here to help. Thank you.
