Hello,

Thank you for contacting MyThemeShop today.

Unfortunately that is not supported by the theme.

However if you are just looking to insert some custom Text that will remain the same and you want it to appear above the slider of the homeapge then you can edit the file index.php and insert your custom text/code in there.

All themes allow a "static homepage".

However you are asking to insert content in the homepage and then below that content have the posts display.

What you are asking is very custom, no theme has that. Therefore the suggestion given previously will apply to all themes.

So I misunderstood and I misspoke.

I just want a static homepage. No post are needed to show.

I want content on the homepage that will not change like some sites that have all blog post show up on the homepage. I only want to create a page and have it be the homepage so it does not change.

Can this be done on Schema Theme?

Hello,

You need to go to Dashboard > Pages > Create a Page called Home > Publish that page.

Then go to Settings > Reading > Front Page Display > Select a static page as shown below.

Then from the Front Page dropdown, select Home and save the changes.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.
