Two questions that your list of options does not answer for me.

 

1. Does PointPro include footer areas?

 

2. Does the gallery settings permit me to have control over image width and height for taller-than-wider images?

Thank you for using Point Pro.

 

1. Yes, Point Pro support Footer widgets. You can activate the footer widgets by going to Appearance  >Theme Options > Styling Options > Footer.

 

2. It will be better to use image of equal dimension. But if you have already added images of what you are referring, then after adding the image to your site. you can use a plugin called Ajax Thumbnail Rebuild and rebuild all your images for better look there.
