[SteadyIncome] Changes To Home Page

Hi, was shown the steady income theme and it's very nice.

2. questions

1. Can I make it so that the opt in window is ALWAYS open, so you don't have to click on it?

I want the opt in form right there without anyone having to go through the steps to click on it. (

I'm pretty sure this is NOT hard to do, but I don't know how to do it.

The second questions and this one is a biggie.

I want the upper part of the home page to stay the way it is but the lower part under the picture and opt in box I want the blog portion of that website to come in.

I need to have a side bar on the home page and I need a blog, but I love the way you have the opt in form in the main area.

At first I did't care for it because it was closed, but once it's open it really looks terrific, which is why I want to have it left open all the time.

The second question is the important one?

If it can't be done, it would be great if you could do a theme like that.

Please let me know if it can be done i will pick it up asap.

Very good customer service, very impressed!!!

Hello,

1, 2. Sure! Do you mean removing the row along "Recommended readings by John Smith" removed? We can remove that as well. The following CSS can be applied to accord to your described customization:

#second_b {
  display: block !Important;
}

#content_box .blog_second, #first_b {
  display: none;
}

Thank you.

David,

Thanks so much for getting back to me.

I should have posted this in the pre-sale question.

I have splash, best and schema and I haven't purchased the steady income theme yet.

Is there a way you can show me how this would look..I would love to have the blog come up second after the picture on top!!!!

that would be very, very useful.

I'm looking forward to receiving your response, I didn't think it was possible to make such big change..so I want to make sure we are on same page.

I want the blog to appear after the picture with the opt in form on home page?

That would be very cool if you it can do that! (if it's a matter of 2 lines of code)

Thanks for taking the time,

that's the first part,

The second part is a bit more complicated.

I wanted the blog (section) the actual page that you would click on to be below the picture.

You have two blog posts currently horizontally,

I meant to change that and add the blog page below the picture, so there's a sidebar, etc. just like if you clicked on the blog page.

Basically, I want to cut the blog page that you have and paste it under the picture instead of the two blog posts.

It's a big change, that's why I was surprised when you said it was easy?

Thanks

Hello,

Sorry, we can not help you with this much customization there. But as a hint there, you can copy the required contents of the file archive.php and replace it with the home_article section in page-home.php.

Hope that helps. Feel free to ask if you need any other help.

Thank you.
