Thank you, I don't need you to solve it for me. It is a pre-purchase consultation ;)

But the answer is incomplete, sorry.

I need to know ( I just need the answer 😉 )

  1. If it is possible to have a functions.php file in the child theme.
  2. If the category description can be displayed in category pages ( I'll show the category description only on the first page ).

I have problems with my current theme (Newspaper), and I would like to reuse my hooks in the functions.php of your theme, Scheme

Hello,

1. Yes, child themes need to have a functions.php file.

2. By default the category description will not show on category pages however once you purchase the theme you can request help from our support staff and we will show you how that can be done.
