Hello,

If you made the backup/restore correctly, the site won't reset to default. It is not related to Musical theme only but all the themes.

You can use any migration plugin instead which will help you with the process.

Let us know if you need anything else.

Thank you.

I have also paid for membership the other day as well for a year...

So you are saying i have not backed up my site correctly?

By doing the following steps. using the musical theme.

I go to MSQL and EXPORT data base.

I then save files from that site from hosting in zip/

I then as a TEST drop the data base - RE uplaod the data base i exported earlier.

Then re upload same files i saved.

When i go to my site it SHOULD turn out how it was when it was live correct?

No i have to go into APPEARANCE theme OPTIONS - and add back footer header image footer image, (those image are still in wordpress)

I then have to add back theme colour and pages.

Hi,

Each server would have a different step. Therefore please consult with your hosting provider regarding that issue.

Most users we recommend them to use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
We recommend that plugin when switching domains or switching servers, that plugin takes care of everything so users don't have to know MYSQL and other steps that are outside of our scope of support.

I hope that it helps.

Thanks,
